Curriculum:
The Sunshine State Standards serves as the basis for our curriculum. These are the required goals for all students in the State of Florida. They provide a guideline for us to ensure that the students are acquiring the mandated skills at each grade level. We will work on these goals throughout the school year to ensure that each student has the opportunity to engage in educational experiences in academics, arts, and physical fitness. A copy of the Sunshine State Standards may be obtained for kindergarten through second grade, third through fifth grade, and sixth through eighth grade from the school office.
Mission Statement
Our mission is to develop confident, motivated, self-disciplined students who have the essential skills and aptitudes to accomplish required goals successfully at each grade level. We will achieve this by providing a challenging curriculum designed to develop and increase the critical thinking skills of students. Delivered by capable, innovative teachers in a positive, safe, nurturing environment and in conjunction with the involvement of parents, the community, administrators, and staff members.
